PROFESSIONAL WRITING AND AI

Using AI to help conduct responses to people in a professional, kind manner is something that I will continue to do in the future. It helps to have a base to work with to make sure when you’re communicating with PR and marketing campaigns that sound professional and are free of any mistakes. AI is engrained into everything we do and everywhere we go on the internet now. AI is now being used by Facebook, Google, Twitter, and other social media and CRMs. I like the ability to use AI to spellcheck and make sure my emails are being written professionally and help me generate captions when I need help.
Artificial Intelligence gaining popularity has both positives and negatives. AI is great to use as a base for building a foundation to start with and then working from there. AI only uses things that already exist and will combine them or twist them into something new. Because of this, you have to be careful about copyrighted material being used by AI. Since, they are using existing material on the internet, there is a lack of creativity that only humans have the power to do. By using AI by itself to create things like music, images, and artwork, there’s a lack of authenticity that’s created by the AI.

The content that I learned in my Professional Writing class at Full Sail University has helped me write more professionally in all aspects, including on social media. I work as a social media manager and have already implemented some of the things I’ve learned into my work. With AI being available across most social media platforms, I can use that to help me with my writing and content creation. The goal is to help me or inspire me to write new content and post new content without being repetitive or the tone of the post becoming stale.
